Polar Express Day

Don't forget to let your child wear their pajamas on Friday, December 14th. This is a very special day. It's Polar Express Day!!! Students get to have hot chocolate, make crafts, watch the movie Polar Express, and so much more. Here are some pictures of my class enjoying Polar Express Day last year.

Holiday Luncheon

The holiday luncheon is tomorrow (12/11/12) for parents who have already pre paid. You must pick up your ticket to receive your meal. You will pick up the ticket from the front office. Our lunch time is from 10:50-11:20. Please meet your child in the cafeteria.

Happy Holidays from our class!!! I decorated our classroom door to look like a reindeer stable. We need some little reindeers to stand in front of it. Enjoy the pictures!!

Wedding

I just had to share with all of you some of the wedding pictures I previewed today. I always feel like my class (students and parents) are part of my family. :) Enjoy!

Magazines/Toy ADs

For the next two weeks in the writing center, students will be making a wish list for Santa. This means I needs lots of newspaper/toy ads. If you have any left over from Black Friday shopping please send them in asap. If you go into a store and see any weekly ads with toys in them, please grab one for me. Thank you!!

Happy Thanksgiving

We had so much fun today celebrating Thanksgiving as a class. We made Native American head dresses, vest, and Thanksgiving bracelets. Everyone picked out their own Indian name and we put them on the back of our vests. We read some very silly Thanksgiving stories too. Our class even came up with disguises for turkeys so that they do not get eaten for Thanksgiving.

Aloha!!

My husband and I just got back from Hawaii today. I am so excited to see my class on Tuesday!!! Please keep in mind I will be out on Wednesday due to an Academy of Science workshop. I don't believe my next workshop is until March!
